Hello brothers and sisters, I need serious prayers for an IEP that is on the 15th. I've had horrible luck with reaching this parent about her child being in school. He's been absent since August. He does require a doctor's orders to come to school because he will require 100% assistance from an LVN for all medical and daily living needs. This is the only thing that has prevented him from coming to school in person. His mother has been frequently reminded in writing, email, and telephone to have her doctor to send the necessary orders. We are still currently waiting for the doctor to send the rest of the orders. I have never worked with this student in person yet. They closed his previous placement and moved it over to my current classroom. The district has officially named my classroom the entire district high school and adult transition for students with severe multiple disabilities with fragile needs (ie. wheelchairs). I have a small classroom, but I do not have a classroom assistant at this time. I would appreciate prayers for that as well. I'm just praying for a smooth transition with no problems from the student's mother. Bless you all, AspieTeacher
