I just took the praxis 5354 (Spec Ed Core), need a 151 to pass and I got an NS score at the end... ugh no score! I got all my raw score break downs and they totaled 84. Ive taken so many Praxis tests (Content tests for Elementary Ed) and always got a score back. Do I need to worry?? I can't wait for 8/21...

"NS" just means that the test is new enough that Praxis is still figuring out exactly how raw scores (that, is number of correct answers) map onto scaled scores.

According to Praxis's study guide, 5354 has 120 questions. You got an unofficial raw score of 84: this tempts us all to assume that you got 84 out of 120 possible points. 84/120 = 70% of available raw points - not that a mere percentage tells the whole story, but it's a place to start. Because the study guide notes that some questions may not be counted in scoring, however, it's safer to assume that a certain number of questions definitely won't be counted: that is, the number of counted possible points will be 100 or perhaps fewer. Since all the evidence I've seen supports the claim that unofficial scores like yours include only questions that are counted, it follows that your official score will be 84 out of 100-or-perhaps-fewer; even taking into account that Praxis is more than slightly coy about how raw scores translate into scaled scores, I think it's fairly likely that the news you will get on Aug. 21 will be good.
