    Hello Again,
My friend has her college practicums on her resume and while I can't fit that on mine I was wondering if I should type a list of the schools/grades I was at and maybe put it in my portfolio? Just a thought.

I think listing your undergrad experience in your portfolio is a good idea, especially for those with little to no experience.

I can't speak for anyone else but since I do not have any experience teaching, I have my ST and practicums on my resume, which is 2 pages long.

Miss H why can't you put them on your resume?

I have a lot of related teaching experience (worked at an overnight camp 3 summers, day camp 3 summers, subbed on college breaks, teachers assistant at a daycare and this year was instructional aide) so that pretty much fills up my resume....

but yea I think I'll make up a practicum sheet...I even did a year of helping in 3rd grade and 1/2 a year in 7th during high school!

Oh okay. I think making a separate sheet with additional experience would work well.

Since you have a lot of other teaching related experience I wouldn't worry about listing practicum experience. The list for your portfolio could be a good idea, but you should probably play up all of the different experiences you have that most people right out of college don't have.

I would respectfully disagree. I would say practicum expeirence is more important than working at a camp. I would revisit the resume and put the practicums front and centre.
