How big the power point font needs to be for paper and my computer screen are different. I'm assuming that that's true if I'm making a presentation on a big pull down screen. I need to know the lowest font size recommended for large group presentations.

I have some slides that have 28 font and I'm not sure if that will cut it.

Well, try it in 28 font and check it out before you do the real thing wit the kids/parents. Adjust from there. I'd say anywhere from 28-36 for the bulk of text depending on which actual font you use and how much text is on each slide.

I use a 42 size font and only about use about 4 lines per slide

that way I know the kids in the back of the room can see what is on my screen.

I Use PP everday and the kids seem to really like it, and the few who can't see just move up to the front and sit on the floor

Ouch! 28 is going to be too small then. I have a lot of information on some slides. Others I don't.
