I'm due to begin a LTS job in a few days. It will last until the end of the school year. I'm hoping this will help land a perm. position. I've interviewed at this school several times. A friend told me about another girl who interviewed & had a portfolio brochure. I guess it "wowed" the P's who were conducting the interviews. Had anyone done one of these? If so, was there a special program you used? TIA
I had a brochure a year and a half ago to get hired. It was a big hit. I used Vista Print. I highly recommend using one. It definitely did not hurt.
I have one too. I just made mine in word using one of the templates. I also know people that used publisher.
This seems like a good idea. I never even thought, or heard of, using a brochure during an interview; then again I am still a student with two more years left I think I will defiantly be looking into this more when the time comes. :thanks: M.H.
If you open up a Word document (Like TeachingHistory said), then click on "New Page" (should be a black sheet), scroll down until you see "Brochure" and click that. I just did this and I was given like 15 Brochure layouts to choose from. M.H.
Does anyone have one that they would be willing to share? I LOVE this idea, and would love to see a "template" of one that has been successful!
