I found this idea on Pinterest and wanted to share. Normally, I buy five pocket folders per student that are color coded to help with organization. With this idea, I only have to buy two sets per student. Each student will have four pockets for math, reading, writing, and science/social studies (each one is taught for a week at a time). I do ISN notebooks so majority of their papers eventually end up glued inside of their notebooks anyhow.

I like this idea. The fewer folders they have to carry around and try to keep organized the better!

This is awesome! I'm intrigued about making one now to see if they're as easy to make as they seem! It seems more practical than having several folders (more for kiddos to lose). Probably about 20 to 30 cents total if you get the 10 to 20 cent sales on the folders!

I saw something very similiar at a PD that I went to. The only difference is that we used folders without fasteners & glued together. This would be so much simpler. Ours were for the writing process.

Love it! I had a similar project in mind, but am going to tweak it. Thanks for posting.

I saw that too, and thought it was much easier than the glued folders. I tried them once, and it was a pain!
