    I have been very busy (have you noticed I haven't been on here as much?! I have been working!) putting my room together. So, I now have pictures up of my room before and as it is currently (though it isn't done). I am doing a safari theme, and you will even find a cute little giraffe that I painted on my wall. More of him might be coming soon. Please check out the pictures, and I would love to hear what you all think.

    Thanks! http://notesinfirstgrade.blogspot.com/2011/08/my-room-before-and-after-but-not-done.html

    Lookin' good. Do you teach at an "international school" or English immersion? I noticed writing in English?

    Very nice. What pretty doors! Love the giraffe. How did everything get so white? Did you paint it all? Please post more when school starts.

    Well, it is both. We have essentially Mexicans, Koreans, Americans, and some English.

    I will post more pics in a minute.

    I love it! I was really impressed that you did the little critters by hand. I thought for sure you used the projector trick.

    Also, can I just say I covet your doors. My classroom has yours on size, but I would love to have the natural light and view!

    Nice and clean looking, right?

    Tami, you have a small room...simple decorations and pops of color as you have used them, keeps your room welcoming without being overwhelming. :thumb:

    Yes it looks clean, but the desks were white, walls were white, floor was white, it just all looked white. Just seemed odd to me.

    We work with what we are given. I'd rather have a 'clean slate' of one neutral color than the hodge podge mix of furniture and wall coverings some teachers have to work around...:eek::rolleyes:

    Great job, Tamii!:thumb::thumb:
