So what is everyone;s game plan for the week?

I checked my local paper today (which is the best source ive found for jobs) and there was not one teaching position to apply for this week. :( I did find an aide position so I will be applying for that. I also intend to call and follow up on the 7 applications i sent out last week. Tomorrow I have a 2 prof dev workshops to go to pretty much all morning/afternoon (what can I say, I love learning). And I will also spend a significant amount of time scouring all the district's websites that post jobs online. Yeah, this is pretty much what I do every week lol and will continue to do throughout the summer! I have to say though, I;m pretty bummed that there was not even ONE teaching position for me to apply for in the paper this week  that makes me super nervous!!

My plan is to keep checking all of the district websites and send e-mails to P in one county for anticipated vacancies.

Also tomorrow I am calling two P to follow up.

I'm also going to be waiting to hear about both of my interviews last week.

I've kind of stopped looking and I'm just waiting. I think I've pretty much applied everywhere and I'm giving up. I think I have one lead though, but who knows what I'll be doing in August.

I haven't done anything job searching related in about a month or so. I need to get back on it though; school doesn't start around here until after Labor Day so I have still have some time to get stuff to more districts.

I tried printing three applications last night but found I had no ink left in my printer. I have no money to buy another one right now so I'm going to be emailing the principals I would have sent things to.

Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum- It clears me for all subject areas in middle school and 9th grade. I already have Elementary Ed, ESOL endorsement and Special Ed K-12. I am dreading my renewal in 4 years already.

My plans have changed - I now have to get ready for an interview Thursday afternoon! I'm excited because it's a reading position and that's what I really want to do but I got the feeling they are interviewing a lot of people and it's over an hour from where I live. This will be my sixth interview - please let this be the one! I'm losing so much money taking time off for these interviews - I know, completely worth it, but tell that to my landlord, lol.
