Hi All, I have been substitute teaching for a little under three years. Unfortunately, my placement file only contains letters of recommendation from my student teaching supervisor, principal, and cooperating teacher. I am probably answering my own question here, but how recent should these be? I might also add that I have had a couple long term positions where I have not yet asked for a letter of recommendation from the principal and plan to do so. However, I fear that my other letters won't be as credible? Should I ask for new ones? Or perhaps to re-date the older ones? Any ideas? Thanks!
