Good afternoon! I was wondering if anyone knew of a good site to print off a picture of each canidate to use on our chart tablet? Does anyone have any good ideas about voting and teaching about Presidents for 3 year olds? Thanks so much and enjoy your day!!!!
I did my lesson today with my 4 year olds. I started off by asking them if they knew who our President was/is...then I showed them a picture of G.W.Bush. I told them that lives in the White House right now, but in another week, we will have a new President. I asked them if they knew "who wanted to be our next President". Some of them already knew! Then, I showed them a picture of BO and JM. I told them they had something fun to do at home...look for pictures of the candidates and glue onto a piece of paper (that I provided with the words..."We Want to be President". Then, I read them a book about the White House.
Next week, we're going to do our own Mock elections...choosing a class pet...Curious George or Clifford.
I have pictures & also a bit of info about each candidate (including pictures to match the info, to help when the kids vote). I have created a ballot, as well. PM me with your email address if you would like me to send it to you.
I posted a thread asking for just this information....guess I should have looked before I asked.... I also sent you a pm. Would love anything you have to share! Thanks so much!
