I love using picture books with all age level...they love it!

That being said does anyone have any ideas for picture books for
4th graders that would be good for making predictions.

    Thanks!

Right now I'm reading The secret world of Og to a grade 2 class(once a week when I have them for lunch duty) they love it!! It's got lots of text but all the pages have small pics and then there are some colorful double page pics too. It's an older story but it's so creative there is tons of room for predictions
some others that are more pics than text that I like are
Chester(there are 3) super funny kids love them!
the wolf who cried boy a fairy tale with a twist
    jigsaw jones

I like Patricia Palacco's Junkyard Wonders for this. It's also a great book for illustrating how to write a hook.

My middle school kids loved Somebody Loves You Mr. Hatch. I read Junkyard Wonders to them, but they just didn't get it.

iteachbx - who are the authors for the first 4 books on your list? I can't find them on my favorite book swap site.
