    Two dish swim in the dish.

    Kim can hit.
    Kim can nip.
    Kim is mad.

    Jill is sad!
    Jill is not Kim’s pal.

    Mad Kim can flip.
    Kim can miss the dish.

    Jill can zig and zag.
    Jill can fix this jam!
    Jill can flip Kim back with a fin.

    Kim and Jill kiss in the dish.
    Jill can fit in the big dish with Kim.

    Kim and Jill are pals.
    What do pals do?

    Vic and Sid

    Vic is big.
    Vic can dig and dig and dig.
    Glad Vic!

    Sid is thin.
    Sid can jig and jig and jig.
    Glad Sid!

    Can a big pig jig?
    Vic can jig!
    But Sid can jig and tap and dip.

    Can a thin pig dig?
    Sid can dig!
    But Vic can dig a big pit.

    Sid cannot dig a big pit.
    But Sid is glad.
    Sid can jig and tap and dip!

    Vic cannot jig Sid’s jig.
    But Vic is glad.
    Vic can dig a big pit!

    Glad Vic digs a big pit.
    Sid jigs a glad jig.

    Vic can dig and Sid can jig.

    The short a story

    Sam is a man.

    Sam has a fat cat.

    The cat is tan.

    Sam has a hat.

    The hat is tan.

    The tan cat ran and ran.

    The tan cat sat on the tan hat.

    The cat is bad.

    Sam is mad at the bad cat.

    The cat is sad.

    Six Kids

    Six kids pin on bibs.

    Vic fills the pan.

    Liz and Jill mix it.

    Jill fills the tin pans.
    Kim tips a pan.

    Jim and Tim will fix it.

    Liz fits the pans in.
    It is six.
    Tim has the pan.

    Vic lit it.
    Jill lit it.

    The kids lit it.
    The six kids did it.
    The six kids did it for Dad.

    1-The Same Game

    It is Kate’s big day!
    Six kids came.

    Jill and Bill came at six.
    James and Gail came at six.
    Jane and Dave came late.

    Bill’s box had Kate’s name.
    Jane’s box had Kate’s name.

    Bill and Jane gave Kate the same game!
    How can six kids play the same game?

    Kate was not mad.
    Kate was not sad.
    Kate made a plan.

    Jane, Bill and James can play Jane’s game.
    Gail, Jill and Dave can play Dave’s game.

    Six kids can play the same game.
    Kids can spin and win.
    Kate’s big day was fun!

    10 Zeke
    Zeke is a big dog.
    Dee’s pal gave Zeke to her.

    Dee takes Zeke home.
    Dee hopes to keep Zeke.
    But Mom and Dad do not like dogs.
    Dee can not keep Zeke.

    Dee is sad.
    Dee hugs Zeke and weeps.
    Mom and Dad feel bad.

    Dee can keep Zeke for a week.
    Dee has to feed Zeke.
    Dee has to keep Zeke neat.

    Dee feeds dog meal to Zeke.
    Zeke will not eat it.
    Zeke sees meat and eats it.
    Dee yells at him.

    Zeke takes the bone to a rose bed.
    He digs a deep hole for the bone.
    Dee yells at him.

    Zeke has mud on his feet.
    He runs past Dee.
    What a mess!
    Zeke is not a good dog.

    Dee can keep Zeke.
    Dad makes Zeke a good home.
    Dee can keep Zeke in his home.

    this is all i have found so far
    I do happen to have a scholastic series and some bob books but they are not in my computer. Although this was timely to post all of these, it was surely easier to 'get' to you all this way. If you highlight and copy it, you can paste it onto a word doc.

    The controlled vocabulary text in these phonics stories will support emerging literacy readers but keep in mind many early readers also use picture cues to help figure out tricky words so text alone may not be enough for some-Maybe add some clip art that goes with the words when you cut and paste into a document to print out for your kiddos.
