I am writing a paper for my childhood development class, which I have decided to focus upon elementary student discipline and reward systems.

I know that there are many threads relating to this topic; however, I would like to know why you, as an elementary teacher, use (or don't use) a particular discipline (or consequence)//reward system and how you think (or don't think) it is effective.

Blunt responses are fine, but elaboration with details are appreciated! I will be sourcing you if I am fond of your response, so please be as enthusiastic if you'd like, since it will enhance the life of my paper.

Thank you, and I look forward to your responses!!!
