As was predicted way back in September, the New England Patriots have gone 16-0!! Talk about a record-breaking season. They broke 4 records in tonight's game alone: First 16-0 regular season record, most points scored in a season, most TD passes thrown in a season (Brady), and most TD catches in a season (Moss). It really is a great year to be a New England sports fan!! :2up:

I know, I know, the playoffs are a whole different ball game...that's what everyone told me when I posted about the Red Sox back in October. ;)

As I have said before - no fair having 2 championship teams :(

Great game - if Eli knew how to manage the clock it might have turned out different.

    Now go grade papers

LOL Beth, I came online just to see if you had posted this. Hubbie watched the game and gave me a report, so I am sure you are a happy girl.

Now did you do what you said you were going to do and grade papers during that game???? HUH?? Did ya????

Ok, so I'm predictable....what can I say? haha

No, no graded papers. I was at my aunt and uncle's house watching the first half of the game and then came home at 10 to order the pay per view UFC fight and ran back and forth between two tvs to watch the fights and the end of the football game.

My son goes to school in RI and is a big Pats fan. He and my HS son went to the game last night (my bro in law has season tix and was out of town so my kids scored them) What a great game. :D(Still hate the Sox though!)

I'm glad that the Pats broke so many records this season. I'm watching the "number 2" offense behind the Pats (Cowboys) and they are STINKING it up against the Redskins. It's so hard being a fan sometimes.

It's funny, I've never been a "sports" fan, but you get the fever when your team is doing good! I never wear the Packer clothes either, but one day a few weeks back I wore one of my husbands "too small" Packer shirts to work. I heard about it, too! Everyone was soooo surprised, even me!
