Ok, I'm new to K this year, and I'm discovering that I have more patience than I ever thought possible... do you feel that way as well?

I have 3 kids under the age of 11. I am sometimes AMAZED at the extent of my patience.

Thats great! I feel the same way. I also think that teaching has helped me to become even more open-minded to other peoples ideas/opinions.

Kindergarten will definitely make you mellow. I too, am amazed at how calm I am sometimes. This has definitely come in handy raising a toddler!

My colleagues say that I am the most patient teacher they have ever seen. The class/situation I have this year is certianly trying my patience - lets hope it holds :)

I know I wrote about this on my blog, but I truly am amazed at how my patience grows and grows. There is not at least ONE moment each day I stop, usually amid some blossoming chaos, and think to myself, "Matt, you are the patience KING OF THE WORLD!" :D

I have alot of patience with the children. It's adults that give me the problems. And the longer I teach, the more patient I become-maybe I am just getting old and deaf.;)
