Does anyone watch the show Parenthood? I just love it. At least once an episode there is at least one scene that rings as so true that it's like the writers were watching my own family...which is so odd because the family on the show is so different from my family.
I love that show! I have gotten really behind though... I will probably catch up on the current season when they put it on netflix There are scenes that resonate with my family too, it's very relatable.
I´m sorry, but I need to ask you sthg. : Which channel is it on? Is it a new programme or was it in 2011 too?
Yep, since day 1. It's on it's 3rd season & it comes on Tuesdays at 10p PT on channel 4. I watched because I knew Lauren Graham from Gilmore Girls was going to be on it, plus the synopsis looked pretty good. The characters are definitely not like my family, bu I still like it.
Funny - I watched part of an episode this week - they were going to visit him mother. And it did make me laugh. I thought it was pretty good. Don't know if I will continue to watch - it is on too late for me.
I was watching until the middle of last season then I just forgot about it so I have some catching up to do. There are full episodes online if you don't have Netflix or if you can't catch it if it's on too late for you.
This is my favorite show. The acting is wonderful, the interaction between the characters is wonderful, and they all just fascinate me. Best show on tv!
I love it, too, but I haven't seen any of the episodes this season. I agree that there's some truth for just about any family in the story lines.
I love it too, I love Lauren Graham anyway though, huge Gilmore Girls fan . One of my favorite things is that they are all so different and really represents family dynamics well.
I came into it during season 2 and bought the DVDs for season 1 to catch up because I loved it so much. I have a friend with a son with autism and she is so thankful that there's a show on TV that intelligently shows what families in their situation go through.
I am a faithful follower. My son is autistic like the character Max. Many times I have cried and laughed in the same episode.
This weeks episode made me laugh...and cry. The "fight" between Max and his mom was so true to so many children I have dealt with with autism. I also love the that Crosby is such a loser that keeps on trying...and he seems to be turning his life around.
