I am required to have parent meetings where I discuss different topics with parents. I've had a literacy one in which we talked about the early readers I was sending home and a beginning of the year open house. I was thinking of doing a math theme for my March meeting. However, I'm not definite on the math theme, so other topics are welcome. I'd like something the parents can do with their kids. My last one was basically a short talk by me, and I really hate public speaking. I also think they'd get more out of something they can do with their kids at the meeting (most of them had their kids there). But preferably not lots of clean-up, because we're using the library for the meeting. Oh yeah, the kids are four, about half are five by now. Any ideas?
I also have to have parent meetings and this last meeting i had a police officer come in and teach us about carseat safety.. very interesting i had a nutritionist come in a speech therapist..etc.. in may i am having an Avon foot spa party for the mom's for mother's day! I would also like to hear anyone's ideas on meeting topics!
