Okay everyone- I was wondering what people think. If you apply to the district human resources, make phone calls to principals, is it overkill to walk in and present an e-portfolio as well? I already have an interview in the same district for a second grade position, but I want a fifth grade in another school. My friend brought in her e-portfolio and it got her the job. Let me know, I am trying to see if it is worth my time since I have a little one at home and I'd either have to bring her (they'd hire me on the spot- she's cute!) or find as sitter:confused:

I think it depends on what happened when you called the principal.

If you spoke to him personally, we may be talking overkill; he already knows you're interested. But if you spoke to his secretary or voicemail, then a visit (with or without the little charmer) is called for!

    Good luck!
