I have probably 50 songs written on chart paper that we sing on a regular basis. It's such a pain to try and find a song in the tablet that half the time I don't bother.

Anyone have a brilliant suggestion as to how to organize or label the tablet so that I can find a song quickly?

Maybe try using post it notes to label them down the side of the tablet.

Can you organize the songs into any kind of groups?

Firstly you can organize the all songs according to alphabets. If you have already done that then you can group them as per same categories or the songs that you want to song at particular time like morning, afternoon and evening.

Do you have a promethean or smartboard - I keep lots of that stuff on there now....

I would do as mopar suggested. They make sturdy tabs. :)

Tabs are a great idea & you could color code them by month used, subjects, etc

I would also suggest switching to a smartboard. If that isn't an option than I would recommend putting them on overheads and putting those into a binder.

Hmm.. not a huge fan of using the smartboard that often.. since we do songs during pretty much every transition and the smartboard takes a little bit to start up when its in sleep mode. Love the tabs idea though..I think I'll do that!

I downloaded all my favs that I use regularly on one disc that I keep in my cd player all day. It covers morning to end of day songs. This way, I'm not searching through cds for the song I want.
