Hello, I was wondering if you could share the math worksheet generators that you use. I have some parents that are requesting extra practice at home and I just can't keep making them. Of, if you have any recommendations on how to give extra homework, that would be greatly appreciated. Right now, I make my own worksheets but it is extremely time consuming. I teach 3rd grade if that information is helpful. Thanks
There are a few. They all have different features and I use them according to which features I need. For example, some let you chose between horizontal and vertical formats, others don't. Some let you pick one number and use it in every problem, other's don't. This is a question that you can get a better answer yourself by trying them out and seeing which one meets your needs.
www.commoncoresheets.com is a wonderful site - and you can even create custom practice sheets with a mix of different problems on them with the review sheet maker.
Enchantedlearning.com and superteacher.com have some good stuff, but I also like superkids.com if I want to get all nitty-gritty and customizable with the math worksheets.
LOVE math-aids.com! You can use it for every grade level! I used it last year in Pre-K for addition, telling time, number words, and shape words! Took me awhile to figure out how to customize and stuff, but it is AWESOME!
I use SuperTeacher as well. And worth the yearly fee. I supplement some homework assignments for the math area we are working on. There's also a math fact generator that is really helpful too!
On that general note, I always have one or two subscription sites. The decent ones quickly make up for their cost.
Thanks for the amazing responses everyone. I think I'm going to get a subscription to the Super Teacher website. It looks amazing for only $20 a year.
