Boy I'm glad it's Friday!!! This week was just crazy! It was little things mostly...but little things build and build until you just can't take it any more!

    Let's just say:

full moon + cold front + snow = chaos

Anyone else have a crazy week?

Haha it snowed heavily today in Houston, a once in five years event. Schools dismissed early at 1 pm in anticipation of freezing
roads. Kids ran around in the wet snow trying to eat the falling snow. They tried to make snow angels and got soaking wet!

I came home, fixed a bit of warm Kahlua, and took a nap!

    Enjoy your weekend!

Don't forget a 4+ day weekend for Thanksgiving. Add everything else and that's a recipie for disaster.

Add in the first Christmas program practices (where the kids divide up into four groups because each church does their own program) for an hour on Wednesday and Friday, an unmedicated ADHD child, and Christmas decorations going up...

I had one of those weeks where I feel that the only thing I really accomplished was to make a list of all the things I haven't done.

All teachers have those days or weeks or months or years when we wonder why we are doing this. However,if we look at all the great children we have helped over the years we have our answer.

I am glad it wasn't just my group this week. Thought it was just the fact that we had been out a week for Thanksgiving Break, they were doing our Winter Benchmark Testing, it had been inside recess all week, full moon, no EIP pullout due to testing, Christmas program practice, ADHD child not medicated, pain in the butt child going out of his way to earn his title, walk-through observation, copy machine down (it got fixed midweek), EBIS meetings, and class for my endorsement and I was ready to scream by the time 2:15 on Friday came.
