my last day of internship is thursday but tomorrow is the last day of school for students. The kids don't bother me, its the 2 teachers in my room that treat me like I don't have a lick of sense!! And I am old enough to be the mother of one of them!! Today she told me to be on my best behavior because we had someone in the observation booth When have I not been on my best behavior the past 8 weeks? Luckily, I see how she treats the Special Ed teacher in her room and she gets no respect either. Thanks, just needed to vent a little!!
P.s. We tell EACH OTHER to be on our best behavior because someone is coming to observe. LMBO. I'm not kidding. It's watch code for "be fake and pleasant." All of us have common sense about that but for some reason I SWEAR we do it almost every single time....maybe not the same words but the same meaning.
You're almost done so it won't be long at all before you can wave goodbye for good...unless you're staying at that school for next year! I finished student teaching three weeks ago this Thursday. I'm enjoying my summer already, but will enjoy it more so when I have a job lined up and can start planning! Enjoy your last days, maybe not with your fellow teachers, but atleast with your students!
