Do not know if its just me but I can't see the pics.
Nope no pictures
Okay! Should be fixed.
Your room is looking very nice! Is this your first year?
Oh..ok..silly me. Didn't read the complete title! I know you are excited and nervous all at the same time! I can still remember my first day of teaching 6 yrs ago. My screen name needs changing. It is an exciting time. Just remember that the most important part of the first day of school is to get to know your class, go over a few rules and procedures, do some fun activities and most importantly make it to lunch on time and get everyone home the right way. If you do all of this, you will have had a great first day.
Wow! You definitely had a bare canvas didn't you? It is looking really great!!
Loveeeeeeee it!!!!!!! What a transformation!
Looks awesome Foursquare!!

Your room looks GREAT! You did a fabulous job! Good luck on the first day!
You've accomplished a lot! Looks great!
I saw the pictures. Great Job!
This is a silly question, BUT! I noticed your alphabet line is not on a bulletin board. I switched schools this year and alas, I am without an alphabet line bulletin. What did you use to make it stick? I'm between using masking tape, packaging tape, or sticky tack, but I don't want to experiment and wreck my line and borders!
THANKS ALL! I'm super excited.
I used packaging tape. I'm waiting to see if it holds up in the heat.
For the last 10 years or so I hang all my posters, alphabet lines, and so on with a hot glue gun. If you use small dots on each corner, it should not take the paint off the wall. Make sure your things are laminated too. At the end the year it comes off the wall just fine. You may have to peel off the glue off the wall, but if you use small dots it is not that bad.
Love it! It looks very comfy and fun!

Very impressive! I'm jealous of the transformation you achieved!
It looks HUGE in that first picture. Is that just the camera angle, or is it really huge?
Definitely the camera angle! It's actually quite small, though I'm down to 25 from 29 so that should be more workable. Let's hope nobody transfers in!
It looks fantastic -- you've made a GREAT transformation!!
You have done a PHENOMENAL job brightening up the space! Very color-coordinated and impressive.

Your room looks fabulous! Can I be in your class?
Your room looks great! Could you tell me a little more about what you did above the windows? I couldn't tell for sure from looking at the picture, and I need some ideas. Thanks.

I'd just like to say I think it's wonderful that you are getting the kids interested in college so early! As a teacher and a parent, thanks!!!
Now, I will be stealing that idea for my door or bulletin board!

Yes, sorry. It has been madness and I didn't get a chance to respond. I just have a few yards of fabric hanging. The top of my window frame is actually a piece of painted wood, so I just pinned something up there to brighten the place up.
