I found a CUTE pair of flip flops at my local Shoe Department...I loved them, however they did not have my size. I found the company's website, but they only sell to vendors. I check shoedep.com and they only have one and not in my size that could be ordered. I tried froggle, ebay, and zappos....still no luck. The shoes were called Corky's (website is corkysfootwear.com). I love them because they have thick straps and thick comfortable soles. I live in flip flops during the summer so the thin ones aren't comfortable after a few wears. The best thing about the shoes was that they were 16 dollars. If you know of another place I can check OR another pair that are cute and comfortable (and not 35-40 dollars) then please let me know. THANK YOU!!!!!!

    :help:

Have you tried Marshall's, Ross and TJMaxx? What about checking their website for any nearby outlet stores? I'm not sure where else to check, except if you want to make it a mission and go into every shoe store/dept in your area.

    An alternate idea:

    Try Teva Mush Flip Flops.

    I get them a www.sierratradingpost.com

They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned! I wore them through Disney World last summer, after assuming I would wear only sneakers. This year I got myself another pair, and a pair for everyone in my house (when they were on mid winter sale, of course.)

Full price they were expensive, but I think I got them for $10 on sale. (OK I just checked: they're on sale for $11)

I also forgot to mention that last summer I got a decent pair of flip flops similar to the Teva's at Target of all places. Check there too.

I swear by my flip flops made by Hush Puppies. The strap over the top of the foot is wide, made of leather, and kind of scrunched. The sole is comfy and not completely flat. I got them online at www.Footsavers.com when they were on sale.

I have bought some of the polka dot Corky's at my local Shoe Dept. But, they are hard to find online. Since I am a new member it will not let me post a link on this forum but you will be able to find it. Search online for a store called caylorcreek.
They have lots of Corky's. Not sure where you live but Caylor Creek is located n Glen Rose, I think. Near Ft. Worth. I am going to order a few pair from their online store. Reasonable price. $18 to $34 dependng on the style. Hope this helps.

Teva's are great! I wore mine all day when I worked as a camp counselor. Reef flip flips are just as comfy, and have a little more arch support.

Just wanted to mention that on Saturday (5/23) Old Navy is having a $1 sale on their flip flops...of course, these are those cheapie things; but someone may be interested.
    :)
I just can't wear those things; they hurt the area between my toes! ouch!

Do they have these in women's sizes? I could only find men's sizes on the website.
