I love love LOVE my room except that it has no windows, so my daily Weather Watcher has to go out the door and into the classroom next door to check the weather each morning...but I have found out that I have a 3-yr-old who is terrified of storms, even just on overcast days, so maybe it's a good thing...

The other wall that isn't pictured belongs to Sunday school, so I don't decorate/use it! I hope this works!

I still can't figure out how to get them smaller in the post - make sure you scroll across so you can see all of my boards and the job chart :) I would like to use my one door as a "refrigerator" (actually make a paper refrigerator out of big, white bulletin board paper) and have it be a rotating bulletin board called "Stick it on the Fridge!" but I haven't done that yet

Although I would go crazy with no windows (I'd feel a bit claustrophobic) I have the opposite problem. Other than 2 bulletin boards (1 for me, 1 for the AM teacher) and 1 small wall in my Dramatic Play area, every wall is windows and doors. This drastically reduces my wall space and is quite challenging for me.

Very cute. I love that star with the swishes coming out of the points.

ty - that's the job chart - if you look very closely you can see two little stars on the ends of the swishes - it came with larger stars, but now that I have 2 classes, I ordered smaller ones so that I could have one for my 3 yr old helper and one for my 4 yr old helper on the end of each

That is a big classroom if it used for sunday school. I also teach 3yr olds for sunday school and we have small classrooms for our preschoolers. (We have a big church and a new preschool/nursery building its just that our classrooms are not big) cute classroom tho

    Very nice! :2up:

I also share a room with Sunday School so one wall/board I can't use. Is that your calendar in the blue pocket chart? Or do you do a "regular" calendar too? Looking for a new idea this year. lol

Our schedule is in the blue pocket chart (it says Today is Tuesday, September 2, 2008. We will sing songs. We will read stories. We will have choice time.) Kind of gives them a preview of what we're doing for the day - usually only the last sentence changes (chapel, gym, music, etc) unless we've got a lot going on, such as a party or special guest. If you look at the fourth picture, you can see the calendar on the white board. :)
