"Walking In the Winter Wonderland"
What is your ONE favorite Holiday song?
Mary Did You Know?
One Small Child / We Three Kings by the Blenders
O Holy Night
If a song gives me a goose bumps then it's a good song! lol
Just one?? Gah. I guess I'd have to say O Holy Night is my all-time fav but I have to say All I Want for Christmas never fails to make me smile!
I'll Be Home for Christmas
The Blenders are from my home town. I've seen them in concert I don't know how many times. They used to always put on a Christmas show in town and it was always the highlight of the holidays for me. They have a number of Christmas albums and DVDs available. I particularly enjoy "Nog".
It is hard to pick just one but I must hear the following two EVERY christmas!!
Thistlehair the Christmas bear
Joseph and Mary's Boy
Both by ALABAMA
Happy Christmas (War is Over) by Celine Dion
Have a Holly Jolly Christmas
The whole Handel's Messiah oratorio...
O Holy Night for me too! If there was ever a time I had the gift of singing it would be around Christmas when I hear that song.

Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire
The Sarah McLachlan/Barenaked Ladies version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen/We Three Kings"
Little Drummer Boy. I love the story of this poor little child giving the only thing he could give, himself.
Oh geesh... It would be easier to pick the one or two I don't really like!!! LOL!!!
-When it first snows... Winter Wonderland.
-Really anything else... get a little annoyed with the little girl singing about her stuffed animal... I can't remember what that one is.
- Sad & sappy - The Christmas Shoes & Josh Brolan's I'll be home for Xmas when all the miltary people are saying their Xmas wishes... I mean you might as well give me a Hanky!!!
- I love Brian Setzer & Ann Margarets ( I just adore her) version of Baby It's Cold Outside!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAyCfi7SQl4
Sorry I just can't choose one...they all have special meanings & like hearing different versions of them... That must be why we always get a new Xmas cd every year... LOL!!!
Although... I will say I really don't like to hear the Xmas music until after Turkey Day!!! Maybe Winter Wonderland the first day it snows & then I'm done until later.
Also my favorite!
Dogs barking Jingle Bells
Seriously, Carol of the Bells (Ukraine Carol) and
the Charley Brown Christmas music.
I love playing those on a piano.
All time is O Holy Night. I sing it in the car all year. lol.
I am like you, DizneeTeachR--I love them all (almost). I also like different ones for different moods and occasions. I truly annoy my husband, because on the 'catchy' ones, I tend to sing loudly, and I am not a very good singer! The holiday music just puts me into the spirit.
There's a couple I don't mind to hear once in awhile, but not constantly!!!
If I have to pick just one I think I would pick "Baby It's Cold Outside," but there are so many more that I love!
"White Christmas", but it has to be the version from the beginning of the movie, sung by Bing Crosby accompanied by a music box. My grandmother was a gigantic Bing Crosby fan, so that movie was so much of the holidays to the family. Yesterday was the anniversary of her passing so she's in my thoughts. That may be coloring my response a bit.
I love the channel that plays only Xmas music around Dec 1 & through the whole month... One year I was sad to hear it go because I knew it was music that didn't have bad words in it that I had to worry about lil ones hearing. I hated that it left the airways... plus it was fun to have it on while we are playing in the snow!!!
The song I have to hear at LEAST once during Christmas is.......
I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas LOL
Whenever it comes on the radio, we crank it up and sing, sing, sing!
I love Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas"---it just makes me want to dance!
Just one song? Not fair. But here goes:
Carol of the Bells
Grandma Got Ran Over by a Reindeer!!
I love Christmas music and I used to secretly listen to it year round. I really can't pick a favorite at the moment. I already started playing it in my car last weekend
I just checked off all the Christmas music I have on my iTunes and started playing it today… I love Christmas music!
Winter Snow by Audrey Assuad

I like all these HOLIDAY music picks.
What a neat variety of tastes!
My favorite as well. Actually, any song by Burl Ives is a favorite.
Burl Ives is awesome!
Hard to pick just one..I have 6 CD's that rotate in my player throughout the entire month of December.
Walk through Bethlehem by Trisha Yearwood
Feliz Navidad (such a happy peppy song) & Happy Christmas (War Is Over) by John Lennon.
This song is awesome!! I first heard it 3 years ago and the entire family loved it!!
