This has to be your worst comment yet. Geez. Anyway, I never see any of my students despite living about 5 minutes from school and being out and about in the community a lot. My neighborhood has a different school, but it's still very close and shares shopping centers, restaurants, etc. I've only seen students from camps I've taught and the like, but not lately.
I didn't see any but I live quite pretty far from our school (although much closer than my previous school). I've met students from all of the schools I've taught at though already even though it's only been two years and I've worked at schools in a radius of about 35-40 miles. (I met one while I was graduating with my teaching credential -- she was there for a family member, even though our college campus was about 40 minutes away from where she attended)
I saw zero. For the first time ever, I work in a different county from where I live (about 35-40 min away), but the city is one of the closest cities to my county.
I saw 0. I live in a different county. Also, my school is a 'magnet' STEM school, so students come from all over the area to come to the school.
My students are scattered all over the state, but I have one who lives around the corner. I've only seen him out of his house once, when his mother (a coworker) dragged him to the porch when I was picking him up for a meeting. He may have even changed his dog-walking route so he doesn't go past my house, but my jogging route still goes past his. Never see him. He's like Boo Radley, in a way.
I saw zero current students, but saw about thirty former students. I went to one of my former third grade student's wedding and saw lots of former kids. A few people I didn't have as students recognized me in stores. Two former students found me on Facebook. They are in their twenties so I accepted.
I saw a handful of students. The Friday before going back I went to a restaurant near the school and recognized most of the kids in the restaurant with their families. I saw two coworkers and their children too. (I was homebound this break, and recovering from gallbladder surgery)
