This school year in North Carolina I am teaching 9-12 grade Occupational English and Transition English in the same class. I have thought Occupational English would be forms, applications, job skills, etc. And Transition English is based on the Extend Standards, which is modifying the standard course of study. Most transition students are very LOW and the Occp students are low but are getting a diploma and going off to a career. My question is HOW do you teach both in the same class at the same time????? Help, school starts in four days.
