Several of you had asked for the number poems (if you emailed me, I will still send them out to you, in case you want to print it out for reference or to send home to parents, which is what I do, as an extra reinforcement). Zero: Fly around like a hero, that's the way to make a zero One: Down you run and one is done. Two: Up, around, and out go you, that's the way to make a two Three: Around and around like a bee, that's the way to make a three Four: Down, across, and down once more, that's the way to make a four Five: Short neck, belly fat, number five wears a hat Six: Down, around, in a circle you go, that is a six, just as you know Seven: Straight across, slide down from heaven, that's the way to make a seven. Eight: First a snake, then come back straight, that's the way to make an eight. Nine: First a ball, and then a line, that's the way to make a nine.
