This has been a long week of hearing next to nothing from schools. Have not gotten a single call, email, etc from principals. But apparently that's because everyone is on vacation. I contacted the HR department of one district about my certification and received a response today that they've updated my application (I could only update my profile, not the app) but principals won't be back in till next week and will start setting interviews up at that time. Then I received another email from another district I applied to saying my application has been reviewed and I will be considered for any positions in my certification area. So...at least this explains the lack of hearing anything so far, and reassures me that something is going on with all these apps I've filled out. Hopefully next week will bring some actual news!

I sure hope so because budget issues at my current job are leading to some policies I don't like very much! Glad I have a job so that I don't feel desperate when applying, as I have in the past lol, but still, would 100x rather be teaching.
