    www.librarything.com

Just type in ISBN number, title, author and it'll add the books to your library. It will also alphabetize your books. It's nifty, but I still plan on using Exel... still just wanted to share.

Oh, you could also print out the cover titles and use them in the class. Maybe hang up the titles that you read together in class, or hang them up under genres poster. Just some ideas.

Thanks for posting! I have been wanting to log the books I have so I can keep track of what I have. I bet I have 600-700 books (if not more lol)

I just heard that there is a catch- it's free for up to 200 books.
Then afterwards, it's $10 (don't know if it's monthly or yearly)
    :sorry:

Well then. I wouldn't get many of my books in. I have over 3,000 (yes, I am an addict ;) ).

    From the website:
    What does it cost?

A free account allows you to catalog up to 200 books. A paid account allows you to catalog any number of books. Paid personal accounts cost $10 for a year or $25 for a lifetime. (See here for non-personal accounts.) I conservatively predict the revenue will enable me to recline all day on an enormous pile of gold.

I would say, try the free 200 sample, and pay for the lifetime account if you really like it.

    Hey everyone:
I've been playing around on it, and it's really easy to navigate and find your books. You can also add books in manually. I think it would be worth the $25 for a life time account. You can add comments or view comments from others, and you can make your catalog private. That way only you can see it. You can also add and delete books. Thanks Peachyness for finding this!

It's really neat! However, the past 200 thing would be kind of hard for me, too. I only have half the books Miss W. has, but it's worth going through it, even for my own personal library. :)

I have been adding the books I have bought this summer so far on there. Only problem I have had is that it just went down. I was hoping to get all of those in tonight- oh well, hopefully it will be back up soon. :)

You are right! It did it one more time before I finished with the books I can look up (I bought a set of leveled readers that are not logged in their system that I will have to manually enter). Will put those in later.

I am glad that it was posted on here! I think it will be a helpful resource for me. Hopefully I will be able to log my professional books too so I do not buy duplicates
