What grade(s) are you teaching next year?
I'm teaching 5th.

Still no idea.
I have my year-end evaulation on Thursday, but I won't find out what I'm teaching for a few weeks yet.
I'm hoping for some more Geometry, since I've really enjoyed that this year.
Beyond that, though, it could be anything from Math 7 to Intro to Calculus.
Staying in K!
I'm moving from prek to 5th
Special Ed (2/3 of my assignment)
Grade 7 English (the other 1/3)
moving from 3rd to 4th
Current principal leaving, new principal coming in....Who knows?
I'll still teach grades 9-12, but I'm not sure of the specific breakdown of my courses. I'm thinking that I'll have five classes of which 3 will be Latin I and 2 will be Latin II H/III H/ IV AP. I really don't know how I'm going to handle a three-way split, but I'll find a way to manage.
(We're moving from an 8-period block schedule to a 6-period standard schedule.)
Wow thats quite a jump. Hopefully staying in 6th, but who knows. P waits til the last possible minute.
It's just my first year, but I'm proud to say it anyway:
9th and 10th
I'll be lucky if I know before July...
Staying in first....
Who knows? It will be a surprise for me
I'm teaching 9 through 12. I'll find out what classes in July.....if I'm lucky.
Western Civilization II Honors (grade 9)
U.S. History I Honors (grade 10)
A.P. U.S. History (grade 11)
For my Western Civ. and USH classes I teach for the first trimester the same group of kids and for the last I teach kids who had a different teacher for the other half of the course.
Moving from primarily 9th and 10th with ACT Prep and a Dual Credit English to 12th and 8th and ACT Prep and Freshman Transition. Oh joy!
Back to completely self contained. The district finally came to their senses and hired a new ESE teacher for the resource students. Woo-Hooo!!! Took 20 children right off my rolls!
Staying in 3rd and very, very relieved about that fact.
I'm still not positive. He was letting people know today, and I didn't get any calls to the office and he didn't visit me.
No math, Brendan??
4th! Which I am excited about. When I was hired I was going to be 2nd or 3rd, then a 4th came open and I took that, then I was offered 5th and declined.
6th, 7th, 8th math, 6th writing, social studies, science (the 6th is self contained). Only the 7th and 8th are new.
Not that I know yet; keep in mind this usually changes every year.

I know what you mean.
We'll get a tentative list in a few weeks.
But I can't tell you how many times the phone has rung in August with a change.
That is impressive. A good friend of mine teaches high school Allgebra all levels. But she would not touch geometry with a ten foot pole. She can do it. But hates it. She says that it makes no sense to her. When my daughter was taking it she tried to tutor her and ended up recommending someone else. I think it is wonderful that you feel comfortable teaching so many things.
I am moving to fourth next year too. Looping with my classes.
I'm excited to be teaching my third year in 4th grade!! :thumb:
I was told today that I'm staying in 5th! Yippeeeeeee!
Happily staying in first grade!
I'm going from one school where I've been teaching 5th grade for (almost) 2 years to a different school where I'll be teaching 2 sections of grades 3 to 6. (Yes I'm crazy)
5th grade is an awesome grade to teach--- I've loved it!
I'm staying put in 7th grade.
I haven't moved rooms since 1998, and I usually teach 7th grade. Sometimes they'll throw me an 8th or 6th grade class just to keep it interesting.
I would hope to continue in 2nd grade but nothing is set in stone until I receive my placement letter at the beginning of June.

Back to 6th grade Language Arts, with a little bit of Science thrown in for fun! I've been looping with my class, but they're about to finish 8th and go on to high school!
Nothing set in stone yet. I hope I know before the first of June or we might have to wait until August.
As far as I know I'll still be teaching 5th Grade Language Arts and Math!
If I stay (not decided quite yet) I will be in 5th again. Love it!
