What are your plans?
I thought it was the last weekend in May... it's early!
Memorial Day is the last Monday in May. No plans yet. We usually cook out with family or friends. I have to go back to work on Tuesday and Wednesday so we really cam't take a trip this year.
Attending my daughter's college graduation!
then I have an interview later that week
Yes that's right. It just seems early this year.
Friday Night - Poker tournament at a local club
Saturday Night - Going on a murder mystery dinner cruise for my husband's birthday (very excited )
Sunday - maybe drive to the casino or the beach
Maybe thats a good thing. I am so ready for summer break!
Nothing big here. I'm hosting a teacher get-together through Meetup.com on Saturday, and then we have a party to go to in the evening (hosted by a former student's parents-should be fun!). Nothing planned for Sunday or Monday. Probably unpacking!!
Teaching on Monday.
Kenny Chesney concert on Saturday!
We rented a beach house for the weekend...I can't wait!
We are headed to the Jersey shore on Friday. We will see friends and relax and go to a few parties

Almost here :2up:
These plans sound so fun! I could really use a vacation right about now. Nothing is planned, however, and I don't have anyone but dh to hang out with anyhow. I'm sure we'll just unpack some more.
I am throwing myself a pity party. I had a weekend full of BBQs and a bachelorette party and now I am too sick to do any of it. So while my boyfriend is off enjoying the beautiful weather and food I will be at home sick. Pity party time
My dh is sick, and I have to work on Tuesday & Wednesday. I also have a huge paper to write for my masters class. Boo!
Tomorrow is my last 1/2 day, so we will have a BBQ at work when we put the kids on the busses.
I CANNOT believe it's almost halfway through 2009! Why is time going by so fast?!
I'll be packing and painting and other house stuff to get our house ready to put up for sale.
I am so excited! My SO and I are taking our first vacation together! We are going to Vancouver, Canada. We are staying in a nice hotel and going to just enjoy being in a new city for a bit! I'm also looking forward to the car ride, believe it or not. Good music and fantastic company!

Well, we WERE planning on going on our yearly family get-together which is camping on the beach at Flagler Beach, which is between St. Augustine and Daytona. I always look forward to this because it is just so relaxing and fun. We have about 10 motor homes and trailers and do pot lucks, fishing, bonfire on the beach, football on the beach, karaoke and just plain doing nothing. I take Friday off and we have a wonderful 4 days. But if you have noticed Florida's weather, we have had 10 days of rain, which is continuing this weekend. Flagler has gotten 18 inches. I was hoping for the best, but my brother-in-law called and said everyone was cancelling. So now I have spent my day off UNpacking the trailer that took us all week to pack. I am so sad. And it is pouring down rain right now. Whine, whine, pout, pout.
That' EXACTLY what you need to do!!
WINE, WINE -- POUR, POUR
We are hosting a BBQ party ......
and then of course there is:
- The Indy 500 (I would love to see Sarah Fisher win the race then watch Milka Duno and Danica Patrick in a mud wrestling contest...:lol
- Nascar - Coca Cola 600 (I would like to see Carl Edwards or Mark Martin win)...
It should be a fun weekend....
I remember stg..... you would want Jeffie G to win.... Don't know if you would want to see Danica mud wrestle or not........:lol::lol:
No, I'm all for Edwards...no Gordo fans here....Now, dh might want to see Danica mud wrestle...of course don't know if he'd rather see Jimmie or Danica win.
You mean Jimmie and Danica mud wrestling or racin'.......

Graduation BBQ on next week at a friend's house and honestly, I have no plans for MDay.
Got a great chiro adjustment this morning (dh went at same time as me- so romantic!!:lolthen worked in yard, which I love...My lilacs have bloomed and smell great...I sat last night on the porch with a glass of wine, the paper and just enjoyed the scents of the season. Peonies are about to bloom- they are my favorite along with my hydrangeas!
Tomorrow dh plays baseball...he's in an 'over-40' league, so we'll go root on his team. Probably bbq in evening in the backyard...did I mention how great my garden is shaping up?
Monday first we have our town parade. I marched in it as a kid, so did my sons. It's one of those sweet small town kind of things. Then we'll go to my sister's house. Her pool is open, we'll bbq again- the whole famn damily...we all live within 20 minutes of each other but the whole group is rarely together as we all have busy, busy (but exciting!) lives...My one sister has her own hair accessories business, my one brother in law is a lawyer, the other is an entrepreneur. My other sister is a triathlete. My parents are retired and always on the go...My one son is in his first post-college job as an accoutant and my other son is home from college for the summer. I tutor at least 2 hours M-Th and dh is in sales so we're all running, running...will be good to relax, laugh and have a margarita on Monday.
Right now, I've got my flip flops on and my capris too...contemplating something cool and easy for dinner...loving it.
I'm having fun living through all of you guys!
I remember the Indy 500 from when I was a kid. I spent third grade-freshman year living in Indy, and it was huge. GREAT day for babysitting (huge tips!).
We've done a fantastic job unpacking today. Dh actually helped (I almost had a heart attack!!), and as soon as a freecycler comes to get these boxes, our place will be shaping up! We've freecycled so many items, and I can't wait to purge even more tomorrow and Monday.
