I've heard from 2 different principals that putting key words, like curriculum programs that you have experience with, in BOLD print really helps. I started doing this and have gotten called in for numerous interviews this hiring season.

    For example:

o Teach 5-6 lessons per day utilizing C-Scpoe, mark tests, and record grades (did u use any type of program for this? like powerschool or learnia?

I was told to name everything you have experience in and then put it in bold print so that it jumps out on the page.

Shouldn't you use past-tense verbs for your student teaching experience?
Oh, and you want to put your work experience in order with the most current first. So, substitute should go on top.

Just a quick question, because maybe an interviewer may ask you this too, but did you only work as a preschool teacher for 3 months? Was that just a temporary position?

I only worked as a preschool teacher for 3 months because of bad management. I ended up quitting to go do student teaching and subbing.

Ah, I see. Have you worked on a good response if an interviewer asks you about it? Just saying "bad judgment" might not be the best response. I would maybe work on making into a positive decision to have left so early after only 3 months. You don't want them to think that you can't handle teaching and the stresses that comes with that.
