I noticed a new forum layout. Is this just my imagination or are there more elements on the page? It seems like I have to key through more elements to get to the posts section. Thanks everyone. :)

I have to admit that I wouldn't know, blindteacher. Most of us who have posts in the thousands (blush!) check up on A to Z forums via the All Posts link in the upper right hand corner (under where it says, "Welcome, blindteacher") - that displays all the new posts and the forums or subforums they're in, and if you hover your cursor over a thread title, up pops a box with the first few pages of the first post. I'd guess your browser should read that for you.

I have noticed that the layout is wider. I can't see my "All Posts" link without scrolling over. :(

I noticed it was wider, but no other problems. I click on "All Posts" as well, so I haven't noticed any more pages than normal to get to the posts.

Nothing has changed except that it is wider so things aren't squished as much. The old design was for 2005 and prior. I checked the stats and only 3% of all site visitors have the old-school resolution.

Caesar, what resolution are you running? If you don't know, let me know where it cuts off. You could let me know which tab is the furthest to the right on your viewable screen. I might be able to make some adjustments.

I just checked the 800x600 resolution (that only 3% have) and the view posts link is still clearly there... the only part cut off is the ads over on the right.

I had to adjust my browser-window width to suit, but that was all.

It's 1024x768 on both my school and home computers. My browser on both machines isn't quite maximized because I have the Google desktop thing. Still, my browser is pretty huge (bigger than I normally have it) and it still cuts off at the Tools tab.

I might be the only one affected by this issue, so I totally get it if I just need to deal with it. I appreciate everything you do for us, Amanda!
