I just bought these Clarks yesterday. They are kind of expensive, but they are SO comfortable and are really cute. I can't wait to wear them! I want to get the silver ones too...but can't justify it! http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/34345801/c/73618.html
Very cute. I wear flats during the year. I went to Steve Madden before school started and bought a pair of ballet flats. I wore heels ONE DAY and it was the worst day of my life! I hated it...and I haven't worn them since. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Very Cute! They even have them in my size! I will have to wait for my first check though! And..... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Happppy Birthday to you Happpy birthday to you Happy birthday to youuuuuuu Happy birthday to you! And-- those shoes are great!!!!!!!!
I LOVE CLARKS!!!! I don't wear much else. Even my flip flops are Clarks. I need some of those though, most of my Clarks are flats, and those are TOOOO cute! Great find!
Wear them around the house and shopping before the first day. Or take an old broke in pair of shoes that you can trade into mid day. They are cute.
Thanks for reminding me hescollin. I always end up with such sore feet at the end of the first day. Heck...for the first week. I will prance (cause I love them so much) around the house the week before school starts so my poor feet don't hurt.
I love Clark's shoes!! Even though I do buy expensive shoes (up to $100 per pair), my feet don't hurt at the end of the day and shoes will last more than one season.
NO, NO, NO! Do not point me towards Zappos! It is my downfall, my weakness. I want to buy another pair right now, and I love Clarks. They are very comfortable and hold up well. They do look like Happy Birthday shoes. I like them.
The reason I spend so much money on shoes is because I injured my foot with a pair of cheap shoes from WalMart. I ended up with planters fasciitis. Basically the shoes had damaged tendons in the bottom of my foot. It has never fully healed and causes me problems when I exercise or am on my feet a lot (ha, ha...which is everyday during the school year!). So I have found that spending a little bit more money on shoes does help my feet to feel better at the end of the day. Plus, as mentioned...they do last longer!
Zappos is fast and has free shipping and return shipping. I've ordered and returned in the past with no problems whatsoever!
I'm with NYer -- I don't like to buy shoes online because I want to know how they look on my feet and how they fit before I buy them. Good thing. Otherwise I would be bankrupt by now
Those are cute...I didn't realize that Clark's sold anything other than clogs and sandals! I may need to look into getting some! Has anyone found these at a department store? I'd like to try them on before paying close to $100!
My husband got that from exercising and it is painful! I understand why you would want better shoes. Me, I love shoes so much I would be broke if I bought expensive ones! Payless all the way!!!
Most larger department stores carry Clarks. In my town, Macy's and Elder Beerman have a full line of Clarks.
I am broke most of the time, but I have found that if I spend the extra money on Clarks my feet thank me, and I can keep them forever! I have a pair of flip flops I have had for 5-6 years! Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Ross also carry the older styles sometimes... I recently bought a REALLY cute pair of clogs for $20 at Marshalls! WOOO HOOO!!!!
I found them at an actual Clarks store near Seattle. I had never been to a Clarks store and didn't even knew they existed. I was pleasantly surprised and they have tons of different styles there! Here...search the link below to see where you can buy Clarks in your area. I don't know if they have that style, but you could always call first. Good Luck! http://clarks.zappos.com/wheretobuy.zhtml
P.S. Zappos is WONDERFUL! I love ordering from them. If they don't work, you send them back for free. They also ship them overnight to you for free. You just can't beat it!
Shoes are definitely worth splurging on because our feet are important & we teachers are on them all day long. We don't want our feet messed up from yrs of wearing cheap shoes. Now that I've suffered a rather severe ankle injury, its even more important for me to get high quality shoes. I plan to get 2-3 good pairs to start off the year. These are the brands I'm looking into: Clarks Born Dansko If you're having trouble thinking of other comfort brands, look below. Nordstrom has a category called Comfort Shoe Shop! http://shop.nordstrom.com/C/2380549...9&Category=2380549&boutique=comfort_shoe_shop
