    Hey y'all...

First of all, this is an amazing site. Thank you to all of you.

I was wondering if someone could give me a heads up on a good 4th grade reading list. Whether fiction or non-fiction. How many reports do you assign? etc. Perhaps some of you have a calendar already set up that I could take a look at. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Pat

Welcome to 4th grade! Here is another 4th grade teacher's site that will help you tremendously. I use her book projects and require one novel per month of the kids. They have time in class to work on them, but also must use some out-of-class time. I assign a different genre each month so the kids will get a good exposure to books they may not choose to read on their own.

Welcome!! Fourth grade is incredible. :) One excellent thing to do is peruse the fourth grade posts, where many recommendations hae been made. I have also used Mrs. Renz's website before, and she has helped in that sense over time.
