I've never taught before this will be my first year at our Church's mothers day out program. I'm a little nervous. I so badly want to do great. I will receive a curriculum.so that'll be good. Can you give me some names of books that I should read to this level? Any other ideas?

What age? How many children and do you have an assistant?
Mailbox Magazine is a good source. Look on Carson Dellosa website and find you a good letter of the week book.

    thanks

I'll have about 14+ children. My aide will be during craft only. The program is only 2 days a week and only 4 hours each day.

That's a lot of children for one person to handle. Are these children 4 years old?

It still concerns me that you don't have an aide. Bathroom and things can become a problem with this age level. Do you have someone that can step durings these times?
