Are you using stars * instead of block bullets?

When I copied and pasted the bullets didn't show so I improvised and just added the stars

    Hi and welcome!!

    In this section: "Teaching Experience
11/06- present... " Do you want to change the verb tense to reflect the fact that you're stll doing those things? And I would add a whole lot to that area. If you're a preschool teacher, you're emphasizing pre-literacy, early math skills, social skills and a whole lot more. This is a paid position where somebody thinks your talents and abilities are worth paying for, so I wouldn't be quite as modest about those abilities. HOnest: you got a teaching job in NY-- it's a tough market here. Play up the things you're doing each day. There are lots of other resumes here-- take a look at some.

Likewise, you list your sub experience. What skills have you acquired there? I'm guessing that your classroom management is a whole lot better than when you first graduated, right?

i like the bullets that you added....still work on really playing up what you did with literacy and maybe integrating reading/writing into all subject area...big things they are looking for in my school system.

my resume is now 2 pages is that too long?? That's why I didn't include many bullets, I was trying to keep it to one page. Does anyone else have any critique on my resume before I send it out.

I think it's OK to have a 2-page resume in education, as long as the 2nd page is something "substantial" and not just a few lines.

My resume was 2 pages, and my career counselor said that I should absolutely have only one page (since I just graduated in 2006). You should try to play with the margins (my margins are .17). Also change the font btwn the lines to 3. Hope this helps...
