    Hi everyone.

I'm getting ready to update my resume.
I'm currently teaching children ages 5 through 11.
It's an eight week summer treatment program.
The large majority of the children are Special Ed.
I teach 8 different classes. 4 one day and then 4 the next.
Each class contains two different age groups within it (6 & 7, 9 & 10, etc).

This is my first time adding Special Ed to my resume.

    I have two questions.

First, how do I include the fact that I taught a total of 8 classes? I consider that to be quite a challenge and would like that to stand out some. I don't want to simply write that I taught Special Ed to children ages 6 through 11.

Secondly, should I specify their conditions? Some are ADHD, while others are ODD.

I'm going to pursue an Elementary position for September. ( I already have a few years of teaching experience but am not certified yet).
I may get dual certified (in Special Ed) down the road and teach Special Ed. I'm not certain though.

    Thanks in advance! :)

    Anthony

In my resume (with both sp.ed. and reg.ed.) I list my positions, then under each I describe briefly what I did, or what my duties were- whatever fits better. Ex:

Summer Treatment Program Teacher Summer 2007
Taught 8 classes over an 8 week period for primarily special needs
    children, ages 5 to 11

I think it gets the situation across, and I bet you'll be asked to go into greater detail about it in an interview.
