    Hi Everyone,
I have been hired as a LTS for the rest of this year and if I do a good job, I may be given a contract for next year.
I have to write a letter introducing myself. I know the obvious things to include, but does anyone have an example of what they have sent home?
I am coming in mid-year so I know the parents could be concerned. What do I say so I can ease their mind.
A little background on me. I taught in a Catholic school for 3 years and have been a daily sub up until now. I have a degree in El. Ed. and Spec. Ed. and will have a Master's in June.
I really could use some advice.
    Thank you so much!!!

I think the letter above is just fine. Stay basic, don't say too much but be personable. The above quote is as good of a format as you can really get. Good Luck!

I think you can find some on websites...this is an assignment I have right now in my program...and she gave us an example off of a web site to help us out. Just yahoo search teacher welcome letter, or maybe at education world they would have something...?
