Hello, I'm a first year teacher and overwhelmed. I teach kindergarten and my kids are growing and showing progress in their learning and behavior, but what stresses me out is that it's only been the weeks of school and there's always something new to learn! My brain is fried. I am usually quicker to understand things, but with so much new learning, I feel like I can't think straight sometimes. Is this normal? Yes, it's getting better, but I'm not at my comfort level yet. Also, we just started the Eureka math curriculum and some of it seems confusing. Thoughts? Advice on how to become better with this Eureka math? I always hear your first year is hardest, but will it get better soon?
