I don't think you really need the first paragraph. And perhaps you can leave these 2 sentences out: The behavior can only be examined in the context of the specific situation in which it occurs. When a student misbehaves, there are generally triggers and payoffs, which motivate the child.

Hey, I would mention something about how you believe in teaching children self discipline, and how discipline should be taught rather than imposed. In NC, we have Professional Development Schools that emphasize how teachers should focus on the positive and less on the negative. I would mention positive reinforement, etc. I recently had to write of these so its fresh in my mind. I hope this helps! Good luck. (It looks real good)
