I have a new student that uses a Dynavox controlled by two head switches, which is difficult and laborious for him, and eye gaze for "yes" and "no". I am told that he is typical in intelligence. I have not have any previous experience with this type of student. Most of my students have autism or DS and are intellectually disabled in the mild/moderate spectrum. Any tips to modifying curriculum or ways to assess his abilities? He does have an iPad also, but he has not been using it.
