Help! I want to start making some file folder games for fifth graders. Does anyone know of a teacher resource book or a website that has some good ideas?

I asked the same question about 4th graders....do a search on here for "file folder games" and check out my post and the response. Someone listed a ton of sites, but I haven't checked them all out yet. Some are for younger grades, but maybe you'll have some luck!

    http://www.wonderwhizkids.com/

Hi, I want to suggest one website wonderwhizkids, which is full of Science games, Quizzes, Puzzles with solutions. It is an educational non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring creativity and excellence in children and helping them realize their own amazing potential.

I have been looking at 2 recent mailbox books for file folder games in math & language arts. Thinking about getting them this weekend when we go to the big city :)

Also, I have bought the carson dellosa ones (take it to your seat)- and never used them. Left them at the school I just came from in fact. Some people love them though.

Mailbox also makes a book of boardgames for language arts and math that could be turned into file folder games.

HTH... Jeffersoncountyschools has some printable games as well

    For the wonderful intermediates... :D

Mandy Gregory ( http://www.mandygregory.com ) links to a handful of printable center materials for reading as well. Also check out the teacher links at my reading website ( http://teachingvision.org/readingwriting ). Cheryl Sigmon has a good site; I link to her as well. :)

By the way, I use the Teacher's Desk website that has been mentioned. It's just right for grades 4-6 (nice for my enrichment fourth grade group).
