I am thinking of taking the ESL test (im in TX). I already am certified to teach ec-4 generalist. Has anyone taken this test?
Was it difficult? What kind of things are on it?

I have been in some classes with ESL and i know that they incorporate pictures into intsrtuctional time and lots of demo. But thats about all my knowledge. Any advice/help/ideas would be great.

The best advice I can give to begin with is for you to go to the official TExES Web site and download the test guide for this exam. It contains an overview of what's on the test plus some sample questions with explained answers. Many people focus on the sample questions, but the overview can make a very good study guide, if you're willing to go online and look up the terms in it that you don't already know (and then look up the terms you find while looking up the terms in the overview).

You may also find some helpful discussion in the threads here in the Other Tests subforum on tests such as California's CTEL or CLAD/BCLAD.
