    Hi all!

Our county just announced our choices for Math adoption...

k-2 went with envisions and 3-5 went with NC Math (I know the split is odd, but whatever)

Does anyone have any experience with NC Math (NOT Connects)? We thought we had chosen NC Math Connects, but just realized they went with NC Math (very confusing)!

I have not heard great things about enVisions, but haven't heard anything about NC Math.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

I'm in NC--Mecklenburg Cty. Kindergarten. All I know is that the pacing guide, the NCSCOS, and the Scott Foresman math we have been using do not line up with one another! I hear we are going to Envisions next year but I haven't seen it yet. I'll keep my eyes open on this posting to see if anyone knows about it!

schalarteacher: I agree with the pacing guide not matching enVison but I am still envious of you! Wake County went with the Houghton Mifflin Math. I'm using our "trial" enVision kit to teach place value (instead of Trailblazers) and love it but the draw back is it takes over an hour! YIKES!
