i am supposed to interview with a school in NC this week but the district is saying that the correct person did not sign my verification form or FORM V......

Univ of phoenix call it a credentials analyst

and Nc calls it a licensure specialist.....

now they are saying I can not be considered and UOP is saying that there is nobody other than a dean left to sign it.....

    what should i do?

Call the NC people and explain what is going on at UOP. Ask them if a dean will work in replace of their "licensure specialist"

UOP is saying a dean is not readily available and that it is a legal document that has been signed by the credential analyst for years and years and never been a problem.....the district is saying, well, we need it signed by a dean or licensure spec.

and of course, i am caught in the middle...

    AND,

if i can not get this straight by tomorrow, this will be the SECOND opportunity i have missed because of this flippin form.

I know it's frustrating!! I feel like I missed out on a job opportunity because I was out of state. There was a position posted just today (dream grade) in the county that we're trying to move to!! So I'm hoping that something comes out of it.

I haven't had any contact with someone from DPI, just specific counties licensure specialists so I don't have an email address. Have you looked on the licensure tab on the NC Board of Ed website?
