Does Nair work? I'd LOVE to quit the razor.
Nair has been on the market forever yet I know no one who uses it.
There's usually only a small supply on hand anywhere I see it so I'm wondering if it only works on some women or only on certain hair or areas.

Nair really irritates my skin. It makes me itchy and gives me a rash, so I don't use it. It does the same for most of my friends.

I'd recommend waxing, or threading for smaller areas.

It makes me burn horribly. The only place I use it is on my face on occasion. I don't know who uses it, either. lol

My sister used it once when we were in HS. I don't remember if she had any bad reactions, but my mom sure did. It bleached the carpet under the sink and the towel Beth used!

I use it at times. No problems. Sometimes it doesn't get every last hair, though!! Try it on a small area to see how it works on you!!:)

It didn't work at all for me and left my legs with a rash and almost a burn.

I have sensitive skin and I've heard of so many people having bad reactions that I won't even try it.

Every few years they come out with a new formula that promises to be better and I try it. I always get chemical burns - but I bet I fall sucker again sometime soon :)

It smells like burning and always leaves me with random errant hairs and feeling like I have a sunburn.

It seems to work pretty well, but after I use it I itch like crazy, I only use it on my legs.. I tried waxing at a prof. salon.. My arm pits were in pain and bright red for weeks.. NEVER AGAIN! I usually shave.

I use Nair....haven't really had any reactions yet. Been using it since spring. I am fed up with the razor, that is when I usually get reactions like cuts, nicks and pointy hairs. Ugh! I like how Nair leaves my legs ultra smooth and my boyfriend always compliments me. I never really use it anywhere else. I think I'm too scared to.

I have used it too, but it also gave me a chemical burn so I didn't use it again!

I used it once, and I'm glad I did a test strip. When I rinsed it off, it took off a layer of skin as well. I had a nasty chemical burn. Of course, I guess it did kind of work since that spot hasn't grown hair since then . . . and that was almost 20 years ago.
