At the beginning of the new year, my school will be moving to a new building. So, I will be getting a new classroom. Here's some pics of the bare classroom:

I'm excited about the new room, but also irritated that I'm losing the classroom I'm in right now. As we move in the furniture and get everything set up, I'll post more pics.

I love the paint too! It is calming, though it is an interesting color combination for a preschool room.

I does look huge in the pics. It is a good sized room. However, it is smaller than the room I'm currently in. It's one of the things I'm irritated about. I love my current room. It's a great size and I love how we've got the room arranged now.

I'm a tad bit whiney about losing some space, but we'll make it work out eventually.

Can you post pics of the class you're in now? Can't wait to see pics of your new room set up. It really does look huge! How many children in your class?

Yeah, that's a huge room for preschool! Your old room must be enormous. Change can be irritating, but I'm sure you will learn to love the new space too. How old are the children? 3s or mixed age group?

After a 2 week delay (contractors can never finish on time) we will have our first day in the new classroom next Tuesday. We're still waiting for a few more area rugs, gotta hang up some room decor, get more of the kid's artwork on the walls, make a few big messes, and it'll be finished.

Oh my goodness, what I wouldn't give for all of that space and furniture!!! My classroom is small and all the shelving is built into the walls, so there's no wiggle room for creating areas... it's all out in the open! How many children will be inthat room?
